About Me
I was born into a life surrounded by cats, dogs and horses so I guess it was inevitable that I would pursue a lifestyle and job working with them.
From a very early age the poor family cat "Tizzy" was always being wheeled about in a wheelbarrow or I tried to put clothes on her, my parents were showing and breeding the now famous "Rocheby" labradors and I began riding at the age of 4.
Luckily I was taught to care for my animals whatever the weather and to put their needs before mine which put me in good stead for the future.
I had 9 years wonderful experience working as a veterinary nurse, I then went on to work as a dog warden for Rotherham Borough Council which led to a role assisting the animal health officer in all aspects of animal welfare including the inspection and licensing of catteries and kennels.
I started the cattery in 2001, and am very proud of the service, care and attention which is provided all year round.
I like to think I have a common sense approach in all aspects of animal welfare and it is my pleasure to look after your cats as if they were my own.
